摘要
•A Bayesian non-stationary generalised extreme value modelling approach is adopted to estimate car-following crash risk in a connected environment.•The developed model incorporates covariates indicating microscopic driving behaviour as well as driver demographics.•The model reveals reduced car-following crash risk in the connected environment driving conditions.•Heterogenous car-following crash risk is observed in the connected environment.•The model indicates different crash risk levels for different age groups and gender.
