High-loading cobalt-doped manganese tetroxide on carbon cloth as an electrode material for high-performance zinc ion hybrid capacitors

摘要
•The prepared Co–Mn3O4 electrode material achieved a high Mn-based oxide loading (14.2 mg cm2) with some practical application prospects.•By doping a small number of cobalt ions into the lattice of manganese tetraoxide, lattice defects are introduced to achieve fast electron transport and diffusion of zinc ions.•The energy density of the assembled zinc ion hybrid capacitor is 2166.70 μWh cm−2, which is comparable to that of some zinc ion batteries.
