Research on Electric Power Braking System Based on Model Predictive Control.

In order to adapt to the future development of intelligent electric vehicles, the traditional vacuum assisted braking system has been unable to meet the new braking requirements. Based on the research of electric power brake system, this paper proposes an electric power brake control algorithm based on model predictive control. Through AMEsim and Simulink, the vehicle braking co-simulation platform is built and the simulation conditions are set up for simulation experiments. The simulation results show that the braking response speed of the model predictive control (MPC) is better than that of the traditional PID control, and the braking efficiency is also improved, especially under the condition of high full load.
