A Consistency Maintenance Method Integrating OT and CRDT in Collaborative Graphic Editing.

Operational Transformation (OT) algorithms and Commutative Replicated Data Type (CRDT) are methods commonly used to solve the problem of consistency maintenance for text objects in collaborative editing, while rarely studied in collaborative graphics editing. This paper proposes a consistency maintenance method for collaborative graphics editing by integrating OT and CRDT. Firstly, the conflict detection algorithm is given for three basic operations. Secondly, a data structure combining a hash table and a double linked list is used to store graph object operations, and operation conflicts are solved by operation transformation. At the same time, the algorithms of integrating local operation and integrating remote operation are given respectively to make the operation sequence consistent in the double linked list. Finally, an example and experiment verify the effectiveness and correctness of the method.
