Secure blockchainized Decentralized Messaging Application (DMApp) for Educational Institute

The paper focuses on the issue of fake or misinformation, particularly in educational system, which is on the rise due to the increasing use of digital messaging applications. Such digital applications are centralized, prone to security attacks, and do not provide provenance. To address the issues, we propose a blockchain-based Decentralized Messaging Application (DMApp) that permits only authentic users in an education institute to send (and reshare) information in secure and tramper-resistant manner. If any misinformation is pushed into the system, the original creator can be tracked and identified, thanks to the decentralized, distributed, and provenance features of DMApp.
