Application and Research of Liquid OTN Technology in Power Communication

In order to build a higher quality power communication network and meet users’ requirements for high speed, high reliability and high utilization rate of the network, this paper uses a new optical transport network (OTN) technology—Liquid OTN to fabricate the existing communication business. Based on the Liquid OTN frame structure and advantages compared to traditional OTN and multi-service optical transport network (MS-OTN), it focuses on the analysis of the liquid OTN technology in the protection mode and bandwidth analysis of the power communication. It is clear that Liquid OTN can meet the needs of the continuous development of power communication services. The Liquid OTN can propose the development direction of the higher bandwidth utilization.
