Air separation of tobacco leaves is one of the most important processes in the production of tobacco leaf reroasting. Its main function is to separate the tobacco leaf from the tobacco stalk and other mixed materials by using the principle of wind flotation to get pure tobacco leaf. At present, China’s tobacco industry is developing towards the direction of intelligence, digitalization and automation, while reducing costs and improving quality, but also pay more attention to reasonable and efficient production mode. In this paper, the air separation process of tobacco leaves was taken as the research object, and the working conditions of the multi-flow compound air separator were simulated, and the distribution and internal law of the internal flow field and the movement of tobacco leaves in the bin were analyzed. In this paper, the distribution of internal flow field, the movement of tobacco leaf and its internal law in the process of air separation of multi-flow compound air separator were revealed, and the process of air separation of tobacco leaf was visualized. It provides an important theoretical basis for the modification of air separation equipment and optimization of process parameters, and has certain reference value for the practical production and air separation test in the future.
