摘要

Introduction: Currently, various vascular pedicle flaps from within and beyond the nasal cavity are employed to repair skull base defects. Since prior surgery, radiotherapy, or tumors may have damaged donor areas, one must apt and willing to consider several alternatives. This study introduces a modification of the Dicle flap that allows the repair of skull base defects as high as the sphenoid sella and lateral recess.
