Dielectric characteristics of composite electrical insulating materials for energy efficiency increase

In the current economic context, in which energy is being discussed more and more, more precisely the efficiency of electrical energy systems, the increase in the life of equipment, the reduction of energy losses of whatever nature they may be, the development of new composite materials with complementary properties that ensure better isolation and make it possible to reduce losses, represents a direction of research that will always have a topical side. The electrical properties of electrical insulating materials may indicate that certain categories of dielectrics can be used in various applications, such as the isolation of electrical circuits of machines and devices from magnetic circuits, from ground or earth and as a dielectric for capacitors. [7] The current work aims to treat two of the properties of insulating materials, namely the relative dielectric permittivity and the loss factor, more specifically their variation with frequency.
