Optimal Design of Time-Modulated Linear and Circular Antenna Array for Feed Network Efficiency Using PSO

This paper addresses the feed network analysis and directivity using time-modulated linear and circular antenna arrays. 16- Element linear and circular antennas are considered for calculating feed network efficiency and directivity using PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) technique. An optimal combination of switch-ON time sequences provides an array pattern with feed network efficiency and directivity with this technique. Simulations are done in MATLAB. The results are shown in the numerical result section.
