摘要
Social entrepreneurial intention (SEI) is a necessary pre-condition of social enterprise creation. Despite notable progress in the field, a recent meta-analysis yielded two central problems. First, a large share of inter-study heterogeneity regarding antecedent-SEI effects resulted from the application of different and insufficiently validated SEI-scales, thus, a methodological bias. Second, emerging SE-landscapes in Africa are underrepresented. As a response, we constructed and validated a new SEI-scale with three samples from South Africa and Germany (N-total = 799). Applying factor and correlational analyses, we found that our new six-item-scale is psychometrically sound, interculturally robust, and shows a high validity.
