Coordinated Planning of Generation and Transmission Network Considering Distributed Frequency Security Constraints

The development of renewable energy makes the frequency security of power system more and more prominent. The traditional hypothesis of inertia center is difficult to deal with the more and more prominent characteristics of frequency space-time distribution. In order to deal with the regional frequency fluctuation caused by potential power shortage, a novel coordinated planning method considering distributed frequency security constraints is proposed in this paper. Based on the principle of frequency divider and the linearized frequency inertia center model, distributed frequency security constraints are derived and the coordinated planning of kinds of generation and transmission network is built. Finally, the results on the modified IEEE 24-bus system demonstrate the influence of distributed frequency security constraints on the planning results.
