Trapezoidal Polyphenylsilsesquioxane Modified Insulating Paper Cellulose with High Mechanical Performance and Thermal Stability

Trapezoidal Polyphenylsilsesquioxane (T-PPSQ) has good heat resistance, oxidation resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and good dispersion in insulating materials, so it has a good prospect in the modification of insulation materials. In this paper, the influence of T-PPSQ on the mechanical performance and thermal stability of cellulose insulating paper was studied by molecular simulation. In this paper, cellulose insulation paper models with the content of TPPSQ of 0%, 3%, 6% and 9% were established. The Mechanical parameters, (CED, FVF and Temperature Distribution of each model were compared. It was concluded that the mechanicalthermal performance of cellulose insulation paper can be effectively improved by doping T-PPSQ. When the content of TPPSQ is 3%, the comprehensive effect is the best. The $\mathrm{E}, \mathrm{G}$ and K are increased by 23.12%, 19.22% and 10.69% respectively, the CED is increased by 2.93% and the FVF is increased by 2.0%. In the temperature balance simulation at 343K, the 3% doped model has more uniform temperature distribution and better thermal stability. The study findings provide a powerful theoretical foundation for the preparation of insulating paper with good mechanical-thermal performance.
