•An efficient photoactivatable nanozymes can be formed by immune recognition.•The target-triggered Fe3O4@NPC-UCNPs assembly was first used for nanozymes biosensor.•The Fe3O4@NPC-UCNPs assembly avoided the using of unstable H2O2 by oxidating O2.•The SBR catalyzed by Fe3O4@NPC-UCNPs assembly was 3.3 times higher than Fe3O4@NPC.
