We investigated serum El2 vitamin Level which is important for megaloblastic anemia's diagnosis, treatment and monitoring, whether it is influenced by light. Elood sarnples were collectedfrom 33 participants using 16* 100 mm vacutainer tubes (Vacutainer (R) SSTT", Eecton Dickinson, UK).As soon as preanalytic processes were completed, aliquated sarnples were analyzed and recorded. After that, sarnples were separated and kept in light (group I) and dark (group 2) at room temperature with tubes capped. EJ2Levels were measured Oh, 8 h and 24 h of time. Measurements were done with Roche Modular E 170 autoanalyzer which is used electrochemiluminescence immunologic assay (ECLIA).
