Sociodemographic profile of Brazilian Surgical Oncologists

摘要
Background: Brazil now has more than twice as many physicians as it had at the beginning of the century. In 2000, there were 230.110 physicians. In 2020, they total 50.475 professionals (According to a Brazilian Medical Demography Study) of these professionals. One thousand four hundred and fifty four call themselves oncology surgeons and 1.400 are associated with the Brazilian Society of Surgical Oncology (BSSO). In this study, our objective was to evaluate of sociodemographic profile of the medical members (oncology surgeons) at the BSSO.
