Messengers of Astrophysics

In the last few decades our view of the universe has changed dramatically. This change is in large part due to our ability to observe the sky with multiple channels. While we can reach some parts of the solar system with probes, outside of the solar system celestial objects are at distances so vast that the only thing we can do to understand them is to study the signals that they emit when nature has found a way to release energy. Energy can be released as electromagnetic radiation, cosmic rays, neutrinos, or gravitational waves.
