摘要
ABSTRACTIn this work, a hybrid model comprised of PV array, Wind turbine units, Diesel Generator and Battery Energy Storage. The suggested framework takes into account the intermittent nature of renewable resources in the simulation. The hourly data of site i.e. solar irradiance and wind speed have been modelled using Beta and Weibull probability distribution function. The suggested microgrid is optimised using HOMER software and Particle Swarm Optimization technique for determining the optimal size of the system components and carrying out the cost assessment. The peak demand for the HPS is taken to be 60 kW, and the time-dependent load curve shape is modelled using IEEE RTS system. This study focuses on determining the optimal components size of the HPS with lowest levelised cost of energy (LCOE) while taking into account the time-dependent load profile of the Hatta village located in Damoh district, Madhya Pradesh, India. Reliability indicator, Loss of Power Supply Probability (LPSP) and other technical parameters are used as constraints in the planning. Sensitivity analysis was also carried out by changing the component sizes close to their obtained values for analysing the optimal sizing results. Further, the effect of load growth on LCOE and LPSP is presented for the optimal configuration.KEYWORDS: LPSPLCOEhybrid power systemHOMERPSOsensitivity analysis Disclosure statementNo potential conflict of interest was reported by the author(s).
