Qualitative Research to Understand the Patient Experience in Non-Advanced Systemic Mastocytosis

Patients with Non-Advanced Systemic Mastocytosis (NonAdvSM), which includes the subvariants indolent systemic mastocytosis and smoldering systemic mastocytosis, experience a variety of disabling, unpredictable and potentially life-threatening symptoms, including anaphylaxis in over 25% of patients and decrements to their health-related quality of life (HRQoL). The study objective was to identify frequently experienced and bothersome symptoms, and functional impacts experienced by patients with NonAdvSM.
