Tuning the Electrochemical Properties of Carbon-Based Supercapacitors by Composite Preparation and Cell Asymmetries

摘要
•Symmetrical and asymmetric SCs were prepared using different carbon materials.•The rGO, f-MWCNT and nanocomposite of rGO/f-MWCNT were used as electrode materials.•The performance of the PIL/IL-GPE was tested in a flexible supercapacitor.•The SCs showed no significant changes in their properties when the cell was folded.•The asymmetrical SC showed the best retention capacities for all properties studied.
