Multi-Target Vital Sign Detection Based on Capon Spatial Spectrum

This article proposed an algorithm which locate target range and azimuth simultaneously in vital sign detection, to address the defect traditional vital sign detection radar that locate target only from range information. This algorithm generate Range-Azimuth heatmap by Capon algorithm to obtain target's range and azimuth information. Thus the targets in the same range bin but different angle bin can be distinguished. According to the experiment result of vital sign detection of two targets with MIMO radar, this algorithm can distinguish and extract targets' vital sign from the same range bin but different angle bin.
