Phototransformations of TiO2/Ag2O composites and their influence on photocatalytic water splitting accompanied by methanol photoreforming

摘要
Ag2O does not create an effective p–n junction with TiO2 but is phototransformed into silver nanoparticles during the photocatalytic process. The resulting nanoparticles increase the photoactivity of the system in hydrogen evolution.
