Designing Sustainable Crop Protection Actives

Sustainability in agriculture is critical due to the growing population and increasing size of the food value chain. The environmental footprint of crop protection products spans from synthesis and selection of analogs to customer end use of applying the crop protection product in the field. Efforts and innovation in novel crop protection solutions for insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides are highlighted focusing on the area of design of sustainable agrochemical small molecules.
