摘要
Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) are a series of highly ordered crystalline materials, which consist of metal nodes and organic linkers. MOFs have been received wide attention due to its numerous advantages, like high porosity, large exposed surface area, diverse gainable sites, and structural controllability. Their advantages lead them to a promising temple or precursor to obtain highly efficient catalysts. MOFs-derived metal oxides stand out because that it able to maintain the advantages of MOFs. In this part, the recent progress on synthesis strategies and electrocatalyst application have been concluded. First, the strategies and principle of MOFs synthesis are summarized. Furthermore, the design strategies in morphology and composition of MOFs derived materials and the research process of MOF-derived materials in the electrocatalytic water splitting field are comprehensive investigation. At last, the major challenges and prospects in the development of MOFs-derived metal oxide electrocatalyst are proposed.
