A Review on VM Placement Scheme Using Optimization Algorithms

In response to the growing popularity of cloud computing, researchers and engineers are striving to improve the efficiency and benefits of cloud computing. Cloud computing is practical when cloud infrastructure is employed efficiently and affordably, allowing organizations of all sizes to become stable. Cloud computing enables users to supply resources on demand and run programs in a way that meets their needs by selecting virtual resources that meet the resource requirements of their application. The duty of accommodating these virtual resources on physical resources falls to cloud resource providers at that point to translate virtual resources into physical resources. Though we consider the providers’ optimization goals and resource providers to find some fundamental difficulties in cloud computing. In this paper, we have presented different VM placement techniques based on single-objective and multi-objective optimization algorithms.
