Short Analysis of the Impact of COVID-19 Ontologies

During the COVID-19 pandemic, researchers started to develop technical approaches to solve the numerous challenges imposed by the new pandemic. One fundamental precondition for research is to make relevant data about the COVID-19 pandemic available in a machine-processable way. For this purpose, COVID-19 ontologies and knowledge graphs have been developed and proposed for many different subareas of COVID-19 applications and research. In this paper, we provide a short analysis of the impact of COVID-19 ontologies.
