Abstract
Numerical method for simulating the influence of loading CuO nano-powders on freezing process was scrutinized in present essay considering the triangular enclosure in existence of fin. The process has been modeled via Galerkin method incorporating adaptive grid and transient terms have been discretized based on implicit technique. The formulas with assumption of homogeneous mixture approximation were incorporated to predict the features of mixture incorporating the impact of nanoparticles and diameter. Verification for current code has been presented which indicates that good accuracy can be achieved. Based on output, loading powder makes the freezing to expedite about 41.24 % which is associated with augmentation of conduction. Also, with alter of dp from minimum to optimum size, the freezing time declines about 20 % while augmenting dp more than this value makes the completion time to augment about 49.28 %.
