Abstract
Although the evidence for corneal cross-linking (CXL) as a treatment for fungal keratitis is not robust, clinicians have used adjunctive CXL in hopes that there will be some benefit for this challenging disease. Cross-Linking Assisted Infection Reduction was a randomized, outcome-masked clinical trial that found no benefit to CXL in the primary treatment of filamentous fungal keratitis at 3 months. 1 Prajna N.V.
