摘要

•Bartonella quintana causes febrile illness and endocarditis worldwide and can be challenging to diagnose.•We developed a sensitive and specific real-time PCR assay targeting the vomp region of B. quintana.•This assay can assist in the diagnosis and clinical management of B. quintana infections.
