Predictors of patient response to cystourethroscopy with hydrodistention for interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome: Does BMI matter?

•BMI does not correlate with patient response to hydrodistension.•Patients with a history of hydrodistention were more likely to have improvement in IC/BPS symptoms.•Patients who report cigarette smoking or history of smoking were less likely to report improvement in IC/BPS symptoms.
