Autoantibodies of inflammatory cytokines as serum biomarkers in OSA patients

•This is the first study that showed the independent association of OSA with autoantibodies of inflammatory cytokines.•Indirect ELISA was used to detect the expression level of autoantibodies against CRP, IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α in OSA.•The combination of anti-CRP, anti-IL-6, anti-IL-8 and anti-TNF-α autoantibodies could be used as reliable parameters for OSA screening and severity evaluation.
