摘要

•Antipsychotics use was associated with poor bone quality determined by quantitative ultrasound.•After adjusting, antipsychotic medication users had a 7.7% lower mean BUA, and a 7.4% lower mean SI compared to non-users.•The risk of bone deterioration should be considered when antipsychotics are prescribed.
