摘要
We aimed to test the hypothesis that treadmill exercise could normalize the binding of the CB1R inverse agonist, [3H]SR141716A, in the toxin-induced 6-hydroxdopamine (6-OHDA) rat model of Parkinson's disease. Our findings revealed a significant decrease in [3H]SR141716A binding in the ipsilateral substantia nigra of sedentary 6-OHDA-injected rats. We then observed that treadmill exercise was able to mitigate the detrimental effects of 6-OHDA on nigral [3H]SR141716A binding and even enhance [3H]SR141716A binding in the hippocampus of both healthy and 6-OHDA-lesioned animals.
