Triple collocation-based merging of multi-source gridded evapotranspiration data in the Nordic Region

•Error cross-correlation is quantified to select triplets for collocation analysis.•New Integrated Carbon Observation System flux data is used for evaluation.•Triple collocation-based merging is applied to merge evapotranspiration products.•Impacts of climatology on the triple collocation-based merging are investigated.
