摘要
•This work developed an efficacious/facile/cost-effective Zn-MOF-based H2S nanosystem.•Surface-functionalized MOFs were more suitable for anti-hindlimb ischemic therapy.•The nanosystem enabled safe and effective H2S delivery.•Endothelial cells and macrophages were co-regulated by zinc ion and H2S.•The nanosystem achieved more effective ischemic rehabilitation.
