摘要

•Completed by carers, the PAL provides an index of cognitive functional ability to inform individualised support.•Hearing and vision impairments are common and may bias assessments lead to over-estimation of cognitive impairment.•The PAL is robust to hearing and vision impairment, and reliably indexes cognitive functional ability in people with hearing and vision impairment.
