Quantification of CO2 uptake by enhanced weathering of silicate minerals applied to acidic soils

•Greenlandic glacial rock flour can be used to sequester CO2 via enhanced weathering.•We present a function to correct CO2 uptake calculations based on soil pH and pCO2.•Non-carbonic acids must be accounted for when the soil pHH2O is lower than 6.3.•We demonstrate simple, conservative methods to quantify uptake with soil samples.
