Tetrahedron structure with nonlinear stiffness and inertia modulation for enhanced low frequency vibration isolation

摘要
•A novel magnetically modulated tetrahedron structure with nonlinear inertia (MMTS-NI) is proposed for vibration isolation.•Beneficial effects of QZS and nonlinear inertia on widening the vibration isolation frequency band are fully revealed.•The inertia-induced softening effect can partly offset the QZS hardening behavior.•The vibration attenuation effect in the low-frequency band can be enhanced by introducing the nonlinear inertia.
