摘要
Microthrombi are occasionally observed in the preimplantation and postreperfusion (MTP) biopsies of kidney donors. Considering that MTP is quite unusual, there are only a few relevant studies, leaving behind controversy and uncertainty. The pathogenesis of MTP is unclear, culminating in the most recent suggestion, with limited supporting evidence, that the endothelial injury during surgery is responsible for or at least aggravates thrombus formation.1 The impact of MTP on graft outcome remains nebulous.
