摘要

•Atypical carcinoids are characterized by high tumor cell CD40 expression.•High CD70 and CD137 expression by tumor cells are characteristic for LCNEC.•SCLC has a high CD47 and ICOS expression in tumor and immune cells, respectively.•SCLC and LCNEC tumors have a more immunogenic phenotype than AC.•High tumor cell CD47 and CD40 expressions are associated with improved survival outcomes.
