摘要
•The ultrathin hydrotalcite nanosheets could in-situ growth on the surface of Al2O3 by using growth inhibitor formamide and sharing single Al element.•The formation of stable and ultrathin hydrotalcite nanosheets facilitates the dispersion, stabilization and utilization of the Pt and In species.•The strong acidity of weak and medium acid sites favors the carbon resistance and improvement of dehydrogenation performance.•The ultrathin nanosheets supported PtIn catalyst possesses excellent isobutane dehydrogenation activity under extreme conditions.
