Resilient relief supply planning using an integrated procurement-warehousing model under supply disruption

•Procurement and warehousing decisions are correlated, creating a need for integrated decision models.•Pre- and post-disaster demand uncertainty and supply disruption possibility need to be considered in resilience of relief supply chains.•The resilience strategies proposed in this paper reduce total cost and increase expected service level after a disaster.•A portfolio approach where a mix of expensive but reliable and cheap but unreliable suppliers are engaged utilizing flexible volume contracts and option contracts proves advantageous over single-sourcing.
