摘要
•Z. mauritiana is a medicinal plant, its fruit pulp and seeds are screened for antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities.•Fruit possesses highest phenolic content at unripe stage while highest flavonoid content is calculated for seeds at medium ripened stage.•Both seeds and fruit pulp are rich in antioxidants as calculated using DPPH, FRAP, TAC and metal chelating assays.•Fruit pulp extracts are excellent source of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agents.•Pearson correlation studies revealed that antioxidant potential is related to higher amount of phenolics and flavonoids present in the extracts.
