Tissue injury-derived DAMPs suppress antimicrobial immunity via canonical GRK2 activation and a novel TLR-activated GRK2 pathway impairing cytoskeletal organization. Simultaneous GRK2/HDAC inhibition rescues susceptibility to infection after tissue injury.
