A Meta-Analysis of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

RTMS is moderately effective for reducing OCD symptom severity. It holds potential to serve as a therapeutic intervention, particularly for patients with OCD who have failed standard treatments and especially for those with comorbid depression. Further research is needed to optimize rTMS protocols and evaluate the long-term efficacy of rTMS for OCD.
