摘要

This work proposes an analytical approach to design fractional filter IMC-PI controller to enhance the performance for First Order Plus Time Delay (FOPTD) processes using an enhanced Smith predictor structure. The novelty of the work is its simple analytical tuning rules proposed to determine the fractional filter parameters based on the minimization of IAE. Simulation studies on the process show the effectiveness of the proposed analytical method in obtaining improved performance and robustness.
