Biologics’ share of pharmaceutical expenditure is growing at an unprecedented rate; biosimilars can improve healthcare financial sustainability and access to high-value medicines by offering headroom for innovation. We aim to propose a policy framework for biosimilars in the private sector in the UAE based on local stakeholders’ and experts’ recommendations.
