Investigation of the relationships between frailty, nutritional status and muscle strength and the incidence and severity of Covid-19 among the residents of nursing homes. Results from the SENIOR cohort

•There is limited research in the literature on factors associated with Covid-19 in nursing homes.•In this study, frailty, nutritional status and muscle strength were not associated with Covid-19 in nursing homes.•The divergent results in the literature lead us to remain cautious and to consider the nursing home residents as a high-risk population.
