摘要
A dual-band dual-polarized shared-aperture antenna is proposed based on the concept of structure reuse. It consists a 4x4 series-fed tapered antenna array working at upperband (27.5 GHz) with low-sidelobe performance and a metasurface (MTS) antenna working at lower-band (15 GHz), which is formed through reusing the structure of the array. The method of characteristic mode analysis (CMA) is used to reveal the operation mechanism of the MTS antenna. From the simulated results, the - 10 dB impedance bandwidth reaches 15% and 9% in the lower and upper frequency bands, with a maximum gain of 10.2 dBi and 16.9 dBi, respectively.
