The withdrawing authors and journal concluded there were signs of background modifications in figure 3B corresponding to the 20% lane in the ‘KO-EV’ panel. Figure 4A presented background issues on the 20% lane of the ‘WT-EV’ panel. In figure 8A, in the ‘Anti-Bcl2’ top panel a band in the ‘IgG’ panel, ‘WT, 20%’ lane was potentially artificially removed.
